Do you or someone you feel close to have access to an amazing item for our auction? The Benefit Committee would love your help! We are always looking for new fun and exciting items to keep our auctions original and appealing to Calhoun families. Some examples of what we are looking for include: once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, movie premieres with after-party access, vacation homes, travel experiences, unique food and wine events, and exciting and memorable events for our children to attend. NEW! No More Paper Bid Sheets! The night of the Benefit all silent auction bidding will be done via sleek interactive tablets and kiosks stationed around the room. Each table will have several easy to navigate tablets as well so you can bid from the comfort of your seat during dinner!
Our Three Auctions
Throughout the Benefit there are three different types of auctions. The auctions provide guests with the opportunity to bid on amazing items or donate directly to our school. All auction items are donated by members and friends of the Calhoun community or by local businesses as a way of saying thank you for the support of the Calhoun community.
1. The Silent Auction: There are over 75 incredible items offered for the silent auction. They range from travel, impossible to get seats for sports games, cultural experiences, to jewelry, fine art, and backstage concert passes. This is also where the class artwork created by the Calhoun students in the 3’s – 4th grade will be available to bid on.
2. The Live Auction: A highlight of the evening is the always entertaining Live Auction, featuring an exceptional array of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, amazing getaways, unique dining opportunities, and much more!
3. The Special Appeal: Following the Live Auction is the Special Appeal or Paddle Raise. This auction provides an opportunity for every guest to make a direct donation to Calhoun to help support the school’s mission.
