Daana is the leader in interactive electronic silent auctions and pledging, and will revolutionize our Benefit by offering a flexible, simple and effective system that is tailored to our event.

ONLINE AUCTION
Beginning on February 9th you will be able to preview and begin your bidding on all of our silent auction lots. You will be able to bid online until noon on Benefit day (February 27th) at which point the starting bids will be the last online bid placed. Only those who are at the event will be able to place raises. Watch your inbox for an email in February with a link to our custom designed auction website! 

INTERACTIVE BIDDING ON BENEFIT NIGHT
On Benefit night there will be sleek kiosks and interactive tablets throughout the room to make bidding easy and fun. To add a playful atmosphere among the bidders there will also be live Leaderboards indicating who is the current highest bidder for each lot. The best part is you can now keep the bidding going during dinner, right from the comfort of your own seat. 

HOW TO PLACE A BID AT THE EVENT
STEP 1 - Scroll Through The Items
For more information and an image of each lot item, simply tap your chosen one.

STEP 2-  Make Your Choice
Having read the detailed description and viewed the image of the lot item, simply tap the PLACE BID button.

STEP 3 - Find & Select Your Name & Create Your Pin
Start entering your name in the search bar until it appears.  If your name is not found, you can simply register yourself by tapping on the REGISTER button.  Select your name and then enter a 4-digit pin that you create the first time you use the system.

STEP 4 -  Enter Your Bid
Enter the amount you would like to bid and press CONFIRM BID to submit.

STEP 5  - Congratulations!
You will be informed that your bid has been accepted. If your bid is lower than the current bid or under the reserve, you will be informed that you must place a higher bid.

STEP 6 - Watch the Leaderboard and MY BIDS
Watch the leaderboard screen for the "New Highest Bid" message to appear to let everyone know you are the new highest bidder.  You can also check on the items you have bid on by selecting the MY BIDS button on the bidding tablet - this will show you what items you are currently the highest bidder on and which items you have been outbid on.
