This Year's Theme
NOIR celebrates the style of classic film noir, a uniquely American cinematic movement that arose in the 1940s. Typically set in New York with brooding and sultry characters, film noir's mysterious themes transcend the genre. Join us as we channel the glamour and allure of theatrical legends such as Humphrey Bogart, Dorothy Dandridge and Rita Hayworth, and "revel in the night!"

Highlights of the Night
The evening begins with cocktail hour, passed hors d'oeuvres, and one of the best silent auctions in the city. It leads in to a divine seated dinner, a highly entertaining live auction, and a special appeal. The event ends with dessert, drinks and dancing - with one of NYC's hottest DJs to ensure the party doesn't stop!

Come see it from the unique home of Calhoun parents Jay Sugarman and designer Kelly Behun as we celebrate the beginning of a new school year and share some spectacular views of the city. Cocktails and decadent hors d'oeuvres provided by Jean-Georges, award-winning restaurant of Calhoun Dad, Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Online Bidding
From mid-February until noon on the day before the Benefit (March 8th), you will be able to preview the silent auction online AND start your bidding at www.calhounauction.org. You will also be able to set max bids online that will carry over to the event and utilize the max bidding feature at the event.
